my money is on a further extension, I believe they have to give 7 days notice before the meeting.

It is a good sign, but a DOCA, does not necessarily mean it will return to shareholders.
It is just a means to allow operations to continue until a resolution is found. It is often better than a straight liquidation from a creditor perspective.

ARI is currently operating under a DOCA. It is just a means to avoid a fire sale of assets and allow the business to operate until a better outcome for creditors to be achieved. In the ARI case holders are still expected to get zip.

But DOCA gives a chance, where liquidation doesn't.
