Firstly good work! I happened to encounter a geologist a few evenings ago at a function. He is in the business of copper, gold & zinc etc. I questioned him on why rock chip sampling would not work in the situation of clay soil, he (without going into too much detail) confirmed with me there is no point in rock chip sampling in clay. As we know rock chip sampling is a big part of copper discoveries so I beleive him to be of good authority.
