From what was said at the investor briefing day, IFL is still seeking acquisitions. I would suspect that they see the cash on the bal sheet as a bargaining chip in any M&A (do not need to raise as much debt or equity - can do a down payment now - do not need bank approval etc ...). So, I am not as bullish as you on an increased divi or capital return.
