I would need to be convinced of your argument, tubbyguts. The way I see it, IFL had nothing to announce to the market. If they did announce that they were bidding without any data on the price being paid, then that would potentially lead to much more damaging speculation and price movements. If they released information about what price they were paying, then it would tell the other bidder where they need to aim.
This to me seems like a lose/lose for IFL.
