Standup if appears that you don't understand Freshtel very well nor do you know what's been happening in the company.

I think I do have as good a handle on Freshtel as anyone else who spends the time to research all publically available information on it and the sector it operates in. I too am a big believer in VOIP and expect decent returns from my VOIP investments.

Financial reports and non revenue/profit specific announcements are all we have to judge this company on. Financials are terrible for the last few years. This is what has been happening with this company. The rest is all talk & PR until it translates into revenue & profit.

You must remember she has a great track record and has connections within the industry. She is results driven and this has been reflected in recent deals:-
1) JB Hi Fi Deal = revenue
2) Tesco converged mobile = revenue
3) QMC call centres = revenue
4) Star Tech communications deal = revenue
5) Pakistan's white label deal = lots of revenue

As for revenue, remember, Q4 FY08 had only $900,000 in revenue, what will Q1 FY09 be?

Over the last year there has been precious little revenue and VOIP services revenue has actually declined whilst overheads have increased. I agree that Rhonda appears to have a very respectable background and that the new director Spiro appears also to be from good stock.

I agree that chasing potentially large commercial deals is a good thing if they can actually make any money from these activities. I also observe that the VOIP retail business market in Australia is ripe for the picking and note that Freshtel have clearly failed at addressing this. What has JB Hifi actually done for them and what other channels are they using to address the Retail/Business VOIP market?


Plus Spiros Nikolakopoulos former director Managing Director of Motorola Australia, appointed to the board of Freshtel. Now I wonder why he is on the board. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out why???

Ok, I am not a rocket scientist so can you explain why Spiro is there other than to pickup some director fees?


Patience will be reward for those who have been following this story for a while.

Given the recent turmoil in the market, companies that generate cashflow and make a profit will be recognised by the investing community as a good thing and all others will likely be punished.

Patience may not be a luxury afforded to Freshtel and others who continue to lose staggering amounts of money in this current market unfortunately.

Those announcements that you refer to sound great but why then if they are so good can Freshtel not provide some forecast revenue from them?

There is no way anyone here can predict profitability on this company as it simply does not provide it's shareholders with any real forecast or other future financial information. We can only look at it's reports as it releases them and judge it from there.

If the next 2 4C's for Freshtel are as poor as the last 2 4C's then surely the SP will quickly go down? Unless there is a massive upsurge in revenue & profitibility. It is possible I guess.
