I'm firmly not a believer in gap theory, but you could look at it as simply closing the gap from the open in preparation to move higher.

The intraday low of $12.42 is still higher than the previous day's close, and we haven't even broken into the $12.30s.

I've been trying to top up my position on the dips and have noticed this is getting harder and harder.
Last week was the last time I had an opportunity in the $12.20s.
So far, yesterday was the last opportunity in the $12.30s.
Today even in the $12.40s the pickings have been scarce.
