No, I'm good as far as water level goes. With my core holding dating back to 2015 I have a way to go before I need to worry about a capital loss. But I am highly frustrated with Newcrest.
So far not only does the share price seem completely impervious to the price of gold, the company also seem incapable of converting a steadily climbing gold price into anything like a profit, and on top of that they've recently turned into a disaster magnet!
My personal view is that they've done something to incur Heaven's wrath, so rather than selling out I've been praying for Heaven to forgive them. I also sacrificed a small amount of cow, enclosed in a bun of sacrificial wheat flour and offered it to the heavens (via my digestive tract). Perhaps Newcrest will go the same way as my offering...
