Shark encounters have more than doubled since last year in WA ! Despite them spending $20M on drum lines, aerial fly overs etc. They have just approved even more daily aerial patrols

This is a no brainer for a poli to pick up and run with before the peak summer season kicks in

Also tagged Surf Life Saving WA. Was thinking this has more versatility as just a shark warning system ... at my local beaches, I see the lifeguards have to get on a quad and ride maybe 1km down the beach or more to yell out to swimmers / surfers ... If they had these stationed every few hundred m's, it would allow them to monitor the beach whilst also make contact from the main control tower

SP3 could target Surf Life Saving Australia to get these implemented across their beaches for more than just shark protection
