True...that is what has happened....but i reckon competition from new content delivered through Smart Tv will take many years to challenge free to air......smart tv penetration rates are only around 15% right now and the NBN will take atleast 3 years more to fully roll out right.....also shows like master chef , x factor, australias got talent etc have almost cult followings so i reckon free to air channels will always be one step ahead.....( plus with live sports...)
