Friend of mine - no time to post himself - just told me, from his broker

Wanted to buy another 10,000 on a T-20 extended settlement

First market maker refused

Second market maker reluctant to sell any but did it.

Looks like they may be short of stock and just want to frighten some of the little people into selling.
