I see but they aren't winning. A few of them might be winning on a trade here and there but overall these guys are losing hard.
Share price range over the last 3 years when shorting began to arise for TFC.
Feb 2014 - Share price around 1.10 - 1.20 Range
Feb 2015 - Share price around 1.40 - 1.60 Range
Feb 2016 - Share price around 1.085 - 1.73 Range
During these 3 years of trading the shorts % has only increased and has now increased to a very substantial position which I believe to be roughly 32 million shares. We will find out this when when the total shorts are calculated but as you can see on the 23/24/25 roughly half the traded volume was all short sold attempting to keep a cap on the share price. On Friday the most I can see being covered would be 50% of the gross total volume so I would say there is still 9% on the short with 30 million shares. I do believe positions have been covered overtime here and there..but majority of short positions have been added to every time the stock shows some strength. They knock her back down. How long can they knock her down for though? They can just keep adding. They are going to have to cut their losses soon and cover. What are these guys waiting for? A fire??

With NPAT increasing yearly these guys are just digging themselves into a massive hole of financial debt. I love it. I dislike shorters with a passion. I don't agree with them being able to sell shares they don't own.
