While I agree WAF is about as good a gold project as you can get, there is still a lot of risk. Apart from exposure to the gold price there is significant sovereign risk. You only have to look at what happened in Tanzania last year to know that nowhere in Africa is risk free.
Having said all this at the current MC WAF looks very compelling.
