Hi HM
A very good question.
It's normal for the market to take a while to 'catch up' to the fact that a company like Mariner has been cleaned up, recapitalised and repositioned to take on new opportunities. We are pleased to see new and consistent volume in trading of the stock following our first move, being the stake obtained in Viento. Obviously more value will be realised in the market cap as we take further positions and begin to create value in our targets.
Our feeling is the current share price has been dragged down in some respects by previous sentiment in the old management team which have now well and truly been replaced. We feel a share price of 2 cents plus is more appropriate and based on our aggressive growth strategy, a target market cap of $40M plus is not unrealistic considering our share price would only need to move to 5 cents, which we expect to happen over the next 12-18 months.
Kind regards,
Darren
