Warning : talking about wound and about to bore some of you.
Nurse today was horrified when I said I got next available appointment to see surgeon in early May
and immediately picked up the phone and managed to get me an appointment in a fortnight.
She said he had been in and meet all of the doctors and gave a lecture and she also knew nurses who
have or are working with him. Said they thought he was not only a nice guy but also a very skillful surgeon.
Nurses have eyes and talk amongst themselves and I do trust their judgement as well as my docs.
Anyhow am now back to a dressing with a double layer of silver beneath and is to be left on for a week
and regularly moistened.
Doc also trying to get me moved up at the Alfred where he also works. They both seem hell bent on saving me a quid.
Did get a bit of a lecture on - please put on some weight before surgery and made a joke about weight puffing
out the wrinkles.
Then went down to Pets Wonderland in Chapel St to be greeted by the employees dog. A lovely friendly Staffie.
Had to get more water conditioner for the pond.
Kittens there were so sweet and they also had guinea pigs.
The sign on the window said that they also mind small animals while people go on holiday.
Whether I bore or not will keep you posted on the wound and surgery story.
