    The latest Vale Quarterly report indicates that Mn ore prices were huge during the 2nd Qtr 2018.

    "Vale sold 239,000 mt of manganese ore in the second quarter of 2018 vs. 338,000 mt in the first quarter of 2018 and 392,000 mt in the first quarter of 2017. The company’s average price of ore was $310.10 per mt in in the second quarter of 2018 vs. $246.90 in the first quarter of 2018 and $180.10 in the first quarter of 2017."

    The average price received during 2nd qtr was UD$7.75 /dmtu against the 1st Qtr 2018 of US$6.17/dmtu.
    This is well up from 2017 which was in the US$5's
