Good evening @anatol - a response to your question re: calculation of drilling results.
Its a pity that you never had a look at the whole conversation but this is how I calculated drilling/assay time lines.
My original estimation of drilling start date was 8th March
from company announcements 10 -15 week drilling campaign
6 weeks for samples to be prepared, sent, assayed and results reported
10 week drilling campaign = 16 weeks from start of drilling
15 week drilling campaign = 21 weeks from start of drilling
Since then from company announcements, they are sending each drill core as it is completed
Start drilling 14th April, hole completed 18th April
Drilling cores cut and sent to Georgetown - 26th April announcement
Preparations at lab in Georgetown ?
Assays at Perth lab 4 - 5 weeks, information from the lab as to processing sample times = End of May which coincides with todays announcement time line.
Taking a look at my original post, the estimated drilling start date was 8th March, the drilling started 5 weeks 2 days later on the 14th April.
The original post I estimated that the first result could be around the 26th April, adding the 5 weeks 2 days (for the later drilling start date),
re: 26th April plus 5 weeks 2 day puts results expected around the 2nd June - aligns with the company announcement today making my estimates pretty accurate wouldn't you think?
From post #31506313
From the company's own announcements:
19th January - they commenced road construction from the Mazaruni River landing to the Turesi Lithium Prospect for drilling rig access....
21st February - the road is now being upgraded to provide access during both wet and dry seasons.
- An excavator is being barged from Georgetown
- Skid mounted drill rig to be brought to drill site, one can only assume barged to the river landing as well, then the excavator will take it to the first drill site
- Drilling starts "Insert your date here" (my guess 8th March)
- 1 week from "your date here" (my date 15th Mar) first hole is completed
- Sampling: My estimate this would take 5 - 6 weeks, 1 week to get it to the Guyana lab for preparation and then sent to Perth (considering the Perth lab advised @nexusb there was 4 - 5 week turn around on receipt of sample, but can be less if "priority payment" is made)
This is were there can be some different trains of thought:
a) Do GPP take the sample as each hole is completed, prepare it at Guyana, and then send to the Perth labs?
- This will provide a weekly announcement on each individual assay.
- May provide enough interest to get the share price ticking over.
- Using estimated times (above) first result could be around the "your date here" or (my date 26th April)
b) Complete drilling all 15 - 20 holes, (10 - 15 weeks from start date) and send off samples
- (b1) Completed at 10 weeks from start date "your date here" (my date 17th May)
- (b2) Completed at 15 weeks from start date "your date here" (my date 21st June)
- Sampling preparation may add some time because of the amount of sample preparation at Guyana?
- Using estimated times for sample turn around (as above)
- Results for 10 week campaign could be around "your date here (my date 28th June)
- Results for 15 week campaign could be around "your date here (my date 2nd August)
All the above with little or no setbacks and is assumed/calculated on the above estimated drill start date,
- If the wet comes in earlier drilling will be slowed down but can continue
This could be as soon as the 28th June (10 week campaign) which is 16 weeks or the 2nd August (15 week campaign) 21 weeks of waiting.
BIG MISTAKE ???? I don't think so
Credibility is another of my core principles that I value, I believe sir that also is intact
cheers
