Management quality

I did more Google checking on Noel Halgreen and am more than happy that KDL has a very competent person leading operations. According to Bloomberg, Halgreen was Biliton Exec Director of Business Development from 1995 to 2001 and then VP Business Development of the combined BHP-Biliton 2001 to 2005. In other words he was central to the merger that created the largest mining company in the world. And now he heads up KDL operations. No complaints from me on management depth in KDL. What surprises me is the obvious attempt to talk the company down and a misguided effort to take out the new management. Given the PREVIOUS MANAGEMENTS failure to perform to their own announcements, attempts to bag the new CEO are just plain wrong. Let me stress I hold directors of companies that I invest in accountable and I am an active investor in multiple ASX companies, but bagging a guy of Halgreens caliber is simply bad for KDL's share price. Halgreen is the best hope to turn operations around after the previous disappointments.
