I will pop around at times, im on break in Perth and fly back to Mali on Tuesday, ill try and see if any of our locals know people working at Fekola, the mining industry is a bit like OZ , everyone knows someone. Was talking to our mine manager today and he said there has been absolutely no effect to the buisness, The local workforce and expats feel a bit better now that action has been taken against the radical islamists , Hopefuly some stability will return back to the country soon. I dont think the enemy have big numbers , they are just very war hardened and wont be easy to beat. we have to wait and see. The coup last year certainly backfired on the army. Certainly wasnt thought out to well considering they were about to have elections and a definite change of goverment for the better.
