Just thought I would "share" (pun intended) what I have just found out re LEI Trading. I have watched price with interest as the date for offer docs approaches. I never intended to be a LT holder and the more I think about it Hochtief have "bought control" without doing a full buy out & with there very high (expected) % holding they will have probably scared off interest from other potential large s/h. Not a nice feeling for LT holders (or potentially the construction industry in OZ)

I have been pleased that the s/p has stayed north of my previously mentioned $20 and was thinking I would accept the offer of $22.50 for 37.5% and take profit on the rest at $20 as a stop loss (actually a lock in profit:))if it hit that.

Fortunately before accepting I checked COMMSEC website here https://contact.commsec.com.au/app/answers/detail/a_id/1504 & noted reference to the "balance" of shares being referred to as LEIE ... checked and there is NO TRADING in LEIE at mo' and the highest buy offer is $15.80 (Sell $19.74)

I rang COMMSEC to check out accepting bid & they were happy to take a verbal acceptance but did not understand the status of LEIE; they put me through to computershare who had NO IDEA whatsoever!! Suggested I ring the hochtief info line 1300560339. Did that & guy there confirmed that balanced would be LEIE.

So just to clarify; as I understand if you accept the offer your remaining 5/8 holding will be LEIE until takeover finishes and at this stage the best you can sell them for is way < $20.

I just sold my entire holding on line as LEI "at market" ... & sorry I helped drop the price by a few cents as there are VERY FEW BUYERS,in fact right now there are:

    83 buyers for 60,335 units
    348 sellers for 507,140 units

    & the price is dropping.

IMHO there is every chance that if you accept the offer the balance of your shares are likely to bee valued at pre offer prices around $16

I hope this helps any holders out there that are considering accepting the offer!
    cheers g
