Reputational damage outweighs fixed cost overhead of the park presumably.
Risks of regulator imposing stricter conditions on the license, the defense of the "gross negligence" Bill that the Premier told her conference on the weekend that Qld Parliament and the flow-on effects of the crisis in terms of costs increasing in the audits, future insurance, security experts (the ex policeman/ police deployed) and the governance and risk stuff must outweigh the fixed cost of running the park IMHO or so I would have thought.
Regulatory issues will now receive far more cost as the regulator is likely to be more bullish in standing by their assessments.
