Neither of those points describes why I bought Bitcoin. It gives you Independent Economic Sovereignty, non-human controlled monetary policy and confiscation resistance against criminals and governments.

Every transaction currently on the base layer is completely traceable and has been so for the last 10 years. Clearly untraceability is not a defining characteristic of why people value it.
