The dividend itself is great news given the value and the franking, but signalling a willingness to return value to shareholders is the big thing here. The one knock on the company was that they mined and mined and squirreled their gold away and did nothing with their profit/gold, but if they turn into a regular dividend payer (and we'll see if that transpires) this becomes easily the best value gold stock on the ASX.
