Rather than effect a takeover what i should have added was "at a reasonable price"
Hypothetically speaking, and assuming the options will ultimately be in the money:
Takeover before sept 15
Yes buying oexo wont give them control as options are nonvoting, but they still need to pay for the options in a takeover, and buying them now would minimise the total cost as they are not insignificant. Better to pay 2c now than 5c in a 20c takeover scenario. Why pay a control premium for the headstock+options when all you need is a control premium for the headstock - therefore makes sense to accumulate oexo.
takeover after sept 15
The options are a cheap way to secure a chunk of voting stock after the expiry date.
The idea is that magnas ownership of oexo could be a leading indicator as to what their future intentions might be with respect to oex.
