Drilling at EP97 ASAP would be in CTP`s best interests IMO.
They have the money now,possibly a rig available and it would help keep their SP more buoyant so as to not just rely on a commercial flow at Surprise,which is not a dead set certainty.
So it would stop the SP from completely collapsing if Surprise proves not to be commercial.
Another iron in the fire so to speak.
