Max Moore Wilton .... a head banger ... headstrong ... and an infrastructure specialist. To date he has done a great job for Macquarie Airports. But how will he fare with unwanted press (AFR this WE) voicing airlines angst when MAPs right to control (increase) aircraft charges at Sydney Airport is before the ACCC at the moment? Also, his impartiality on a national infrastructure privatisation advisory committee is being querried.
My view is that MAX has been in MOORE difficult circumstances in previous roles in the past. I also feel that infrastructure shares over the next 10 yrs or so will be golden and that Max will be instrumental in forging a strong place at the table for MAPs. With a good dividend and current P/E of only abt 4.5 I am happy to have them in my super portfolio. However, there could be some short term pain if MAPs are reigned in by the ACCC ie a WILTON (wilting) sp.
Any strong views out there? Cheers.
