it’s a good idea but is smacks of desperation of a leader who has lost touch with his people. People know Macron is a globalist ideologue and nothing will change. He should’ve listened to the people before he lost control. Now he is just trying to put the tooth paste back in the tube.
All the French need to do is look at how the British elite have betrayed democracy and their country with Brexit. The is next to no trust in the political class and the media: and for good reason.
