Metals X, Westgold... next stop Mount Gibson Iron?

Brokers have ramped up pitching for a $160 million stake in Mount Gibson Iron Ltd, seeking to sell it via a block trade to institutions.
As revealed by Street Talk on Thursday, brokers have turned their attention to Hong Kong's APAC Resources, which owns 30 per cent of Mt Gibson Iron with Canaccord said to be in pole position to secure the trade.
APAC Resources has been re-thinking its Australian exposures in recent weeks, selling down its stake in fellow ASX-listed miners Metals X and Westgold Resources on Thursday morning.
