I actually dont neccessarily read it the same way as you. With all of the Big 4 exiting the SMSF Residential Loan market plus AMP and now Macquarie I'm not sure who is going to do an about face and become Domacom's B2C Lender for this product. When I was at a Big 4, product development usually worked in silo's often ending up nowhere. IMO Getting Board Credit Commitee approval will be a whole new ballgame when they get briefed. IMO there are sometimes more motives by the bankers to go through the process, one example might be go for or get a hold of the Domacom deposit cash pool, pure speculation. Equally Domacom should promote this as much as they can, because another Big 4 might get allured if Big 4 (A) does not proceed post Pilot , Big 4 (B),(C) or(D), might have a crank IMO.
