all of which are positives for DCL - thanks for pointing it out @mayafushi.
if you worked in the industry @mayafushi you'd realise that they also did the same thing after the GFC ie they sold off their margin lending business and Italian mortgage business as they weren't core businesses.
that said it's not say that their clients or advisers stopped investing in mortgages or margin loans as an asset class or investment vehicle.
all of which are positives for DCL - thanks for pointing it out...
