Even if you find D Trump distasteful , I see him as much like Putin.
He does have two things going for him.
He has promised to break up the banks.
It was Bill Clinton that allowed them to supersize themselves and create the GFC.
Trump promises to make the US great again and rebuild it on American steel.
The US steel industry is heavily dependant on EAF and the APG bolt on processes could be well received.
Look what happened from 5 years ago when the USA focused on coal seam gas extraction. They were so sucessful that the price of crude oil collapsed from $110 per barrel to $40 per barrel as the Arabs retaliated
The North American focus may become an inspired new direction.
