Should have added, Lynas major resource CLD also contains 14.9MT TREO @0.024% Dy for a further 3576t, and a HRE carbonate has been produced from this ore for the past 6 yrs, mainly stockpiled at LAMP since 2016 due to ultra low prices.
Based on the 2015 data Mt Weld contains roughly twice the volume of Dy claimed by NTU, and Lynas has doubled its resource since.
IF DyO prices ever rebound to the point HRE recovery from hard rock resources becomes viable Lynas would potentially be a far more competitive producer than NTU, with far greater reserves.
The promoted fantasy of NTU as some sort of "special" HRE resource is abject nonsense.
