LYC vs NTU, page-11

ASX NTU. Northern Minerals and Heavy REE’s.

Heavy rare earth elements (REE’s) are an integral part of our immediate future. As a car enthusiast, I am particularly interested in their application in an EV. I love the sound of a boxer 6 or V8 but as a parent I know the future belongs to cleaner technologies. So with that in mind as an investor I am buoyed knowing REE’s are essential to the EV industry, but also enjoy an equally important status across a swathe of industries. What’s not to like about unique products that have multi industry applications, which historically have outperformed most regardless of the macro economy. As an extra string to the already impressive bow any future (almost inevitable) stimulus packages also generate additional demand in the resources sector so whether you’re a bull or a bear just now, who doesn’t like to get in on the ground floor? Did I mention 7 cents a share?

Automakers worldwide are universally preparing for the switch over to alternative power sources away from traditional and highly polluting ICE’s. Due to well established power grids EV’s are leading the charge given the prohibitive infrastructure issues of leapfrogging straight to hydrogen powered cars, and the cost of that technology. At this point regardless of the auto manufacturer, a common theme is their use of heavy REE’s and China holds a near monopoly.

The potential of this one tiny and currently ridiculously cheap company cannot be understated when occupying such a unique space. NTU’s recent announcements tell the story better than I can.
