Yep, that's pretty much what Dave said in the podcast. So if PI's don't participate then they only have themselves to blame. Regardless of whether they are issued to SI or PI, the SP usually drops to around the level of the issue so it's up to each individual as to whether they want to do nothing or do something and contribute to the funding of their company.
