Another good session for oil, with the Brent classification effectively back in channel. Never got that 2nd 15% correction we might have expected, did we. Might still yet, i suppose, but trading and trending above that pivotal 50 EMA at the moment, so remains bullish to me.



The quick rebound for us on both bourses certainly caught me by surprise. My eagle eye saw an excellent opportunity for a trade, selling a good sized chunk out at 2.6 back late June, for a cunning re-entry @ 1.7/1.8.

Guaranteed money, i cleverly sniggered to myself.
And what a surprise... i was wrong, or greedy, or both.

Seems it has been decided we are indeed worth more than the market said we were a day or so ago, and that first gap has already now been slammed shut.



I think i really do need to step back, have a good look at myself, and accept that i am a trader's ass.

And in the meantime, in the spirit of brinkmanship, let's see if that 200/50 EMA "death cross" harbingers anything to help my trading parcel's re-entry
