LPD and LRS might have more in common than we realise imo, sure LPD is much more developed but there
MC is also 10x what LRS is.
# lets run down what they have in common
- LPD have there L max technology this will enable company's with lower grade lithium to still
be cost effective to mine. its a major deal in the lithium space and is there company maker, no question
and large lithium company's are all over them like GXY.
- LRS have patented lithium extraction technology that's enables them to extract hard rock spodumene
into lithium carbonate production, the best news is the there product is developed in Argentina where LRS is based at and can be used by them when LRS is ready to go into production.
it could also be used by other company's where LRS charge them for the use of there technology
creating another income stream rather than just production
LRS now have around 7 million dollars where they can help fund this technology and do drilling to establish a jorc resource. this technology although still early in trails will allow cost effective and environmentally less impact than current technology,
"It is an alternative process that lower the costs and makes intensive use of the mineral besides lithium; several commercially important products are also obtained
through the process"
- this is excellent as these can by on sold to increase profit margin on lithium sales.
Importantly, the Technology was developed at the UnCuyo University using lithium spodumene samples from the San Luis province of Argentina. The Technology would therefore prove to be
highly valuable to Latin if proven successful at a scalable size as Latin controls a large number of
concessions that host lithium spodumene pegmatites in the San Luis province.
"gives a unique opportunity for Latin Resources to fast track production of spodumene
concentrate.
Thesuccessful development of the lithium carbonate Technology would then enable Latin Resources to provide the full value chain of processing hard rock to spodumene concentrate to lithium carbonate for the expanding global electric battery market. "
- This technology could be the company maker for LRS as the L MAX technology is for LPD
"in securing of a lithium carbonate technology is another step forward for Latin Resources to move into the lucrative production of the highly valued electric battery minerals market. The current price of spodumene concentrate is $700â€$900 compared to lithium carbonate price of between $12,000 †$15, 0000 ,this will add incredible value if there technology is proven successful at commercial scale.
- that is a massive difference to the bottom line, I believe the massive volume we have been seeing the past week in trading could be because LRS could be in negations with some big company's that are in Argentina or around the world that want a piece of this technology that will make a massive difference to there bottom line.
Remember LRS will have a patent for the technology in Argentina, Australia, China, Canada and the USA.
so we have
LPD MC 200 million, cash 8 million
LRS MC 27 million, cash 8 million
both could offer outstanding opportunity for company's to save a lot of money and increase there profit margin using there respective technology's
its only the start of the lithium boom, both technology's will be highly desired as lithium demand increases
I expect LPD to become a billion dollar company in a few years if that's the case I don't see LRS still at a 27 million MC.
we also have lithium in in Argentina arguably the best spot in the world for lithium
South America has some of the most abundant sources of high-grade lithium in the world.
Here, Argentina along with Chile and Bolivia make up what is known as the lithium triangle where two thirds of the world's lithium supply come from.
Argentina itself represents 15% of total world production of around 200,000 tonnes. But spurred by the growth of electric cars, lithium production is set to explode to reach 400,000-500,000 tonnes per year by 2025.
LRS now has more than 100,000 hectares of exploration concessions secured in the lithium pegmatite districts of Catamarca and San Luis Provinces, Argentina.
One of the major reasons for its Catarmarca play is that the region has very similar geology to the $690M capped Pilbara Minerals (ASX: PLS) monster hard rock lithium deposit
