In a relatively short span of timeLPI has revivified Maricunga. The project is now onthe final lap of the developer circuit with a recent sizeable financing taking it to its full earn-in potentialand funding the project through to the development decision, which seems almost a foregoneconclusion at this juncture.
I am not the exclusive one with a Strong Buy rating. Apart from Canaccor Genuity, Sprott, Hallgarten&Co, Indepresearch and EverBluCapital, we now have a new major player as a major shareholder - Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group. Do you think MUFJ would buy into LPI if the Maricunga wont get developed?
Yes, we cannot ignore history, but in recent times Li has become a major strategic resource, and it is only going to get more important. As such, the current government has tasked Codelco to look for strategic partners to develop the Maricunga, see below recent article:http://www.minersandinvestors.com/news/article/21/interview-aurora-williams-minister-of-mining
Will the Maricunga get developed? My research indicates - YES.
Strong BUY LPI
