The majority of outstanding stock is held by a Chinese chap out of Singapore. I believe he has launched a couple of legal actions against the incumbent management alleging oppression of minorities. This may have been contrary to the interests of other shareholders. The assets are quite valuable. You only have to consider the price paid in the take-over. what will happen is hard to say, but MIN are not fools and have a lot invested. They took out 100% of the joint venture partner in the manganese mine at a cost of something like $70M from memory, so have quite a bit invested, even for them. Time will tell.
