That's not a fair comparison you are making... because you end up spending $24,000 via the options path to get $80,000 value.

If I were to invest that same $24,000 in heads right now, then at 2c I'd have 6m shares worth $120,000 while you'd end up with 4m shares worth $80,000...

If you intend to ultimately hold heads, then buying options right now does not make any sense. If you intend to sell the options again later, then the leverage does make sense.
