IBA aims to become a global provider of health IT solutions. This is
exemplified by the acquisition of iSOFT, expanding its scope to 35
countries. The group will refocus in three markets under the iSOFT
brand: iSOFT financials, iSOFT healthcare and iSOFT Consumer.
Healthcare spending is driven by the increased demand for access to
healthcare services and an ageing population. Geographically, cross
selling opportunities exists in the UK while IBA will continue to
grow into new markets in Southern Europe, Russia, Middle East,
China and Latin America.
