From the wording of the announcement i suspect that the bid(s)on the table are for the entire assets of AMU. The ann states that "expressing an interest in acquiring the companies assets"
I see this as an opportunity for the company to flush out all interested parties in an effort to obtain maximum value. One wonders if the best price would be achieved by a lock, stock and barrell sale or would a better outcome be achieved by auctioning of different assets individually ? Perhaps by geographical location ie texas assets as one package etc etc
I think that is why advisors have been brought in imo
AMU has an extensive acreage and imo as a whole the package would attract a premium on that basis, but who knows.
One things for sure we are still a fair way from fair value
