An asset sell of would definitely be bad IMO as I am sure it would only be the better ones that people are interested in. What would we be left with then?
I fear that AMU is like a rabbit in the headlights, doesnt know what to do. The fact that they had to get external people in to advise them how to get maximum value is also a worry. Does this mean that they are admitting they dont know how to maximise value themselves? The recent share price may be an indicator here.
Maybe by selling the good assets they will be able to drag the value of the company down to match the share price rather than raise the share price to match the value of the company.
I just hope the rabbit doesnt go splat.
