    Milesg,

I wont talk in riddles. I'll give you an excerpt of a press release taken straight off the Clough website:

    ---------
    4 September 2002 - Profit after Tax $30.0M (+12%)
    Group Turnover $784.9M (+9%)
Clough Limited has reported a net profit of $30.0 million (up 12%), fuelled by group revenues which rose over 9% to $785 million, for the year ended June 30, 2002. Operating profit before tax was $42.2 million (down 4%). Earnings per share were 7.6c (down 1%).

"In the current global environment the Clough group has continued to record healthy business growth. We have never been busier," Dr Brian Hewitt, Managing Director of Clough Limited.

    --------

How is it that everything is "up", expect for the operating profit which is 4% down and the earnings per share? On top of that, Hewitt is quoted on his own company's website as saying that they "have never been busier". What the hell is going on at Clough?

Why don't you tell me some answers rather than just questioning everybody else?

I do not hold. I refuse to hold dogs in my portfolio.
