US-based fund manager Neuberger Bergman became a substantial holder of mining equipment and service provider Industrea with a stake of 5.3 per cent. Speaking from New York, portfolio manager Lawrence Bergman said: "We like it for its strong long-term growth prospects driven by Chinese demand for coal and coalmining equipment and believe it is undervalued. It incorporates advanced technology, enabling it to sustain high profit margins and returns." The dividend yield of 4 per cent-plus, supported by free cash flow, also attracted Mr Bergman. He also thinks the management team is "solid". Shares have risen 30 per cent in the past 12 months.
