word is at the time of writing the quarterly, imminent meant 3-4 days later, that's how close we got to starting. I don't bother ringing the company anymore , may as well get on with life instead of staring at the computer waiting for an announcement, as they say "hope is not a strategy" and it seems it's all we got and have had for years now.
to speculate on why we still haven't started alluvial mining, I'd hazard a guess that other groups/tribes want a part of the action and/or corrupt officials have their hand out again and aren't getting what they expected, lets hope the company can help get this sorted because if they sit back and let the new partner shoulder all the responsibility they might decide to cross over and join the illegals and start mining unimpeded.
