Shane is an excellent operator and is changing the business
model. He's on the right track in securing recurring revenue streams through the supply chain ie. coffee, selling Master Franchisers O/S and setting up the Franchise Services division. Having said that it's a tough business to be in and the churn rate, bankruptcies, shopping centre rents, and dependence on the health of the economy would be a lot to deal with. There always will be problems that have to be dealt with. The better the model and knowledge and the better the operator then the more chance of success i.e McDonalds, Boost Juice. Boost Investment Group (BIG), have bought a 53 per cent stake in the emerging Salsa's Fresh Mex Grill....watch this space ! What I'm saying is ABQ need to find or create a hot new franchising concept....along the likes of early day Subway, Boost Juice for explosive growth in contrast to Kenny's Cardiology.
