It's allowed EasyC, ASIC supposedly frowns upon these matters, but it's like telling the police about the theft of a hammer.
It's quite funny really and not affecting us. it's a lot more frustrating when they manipulate the closing price of PRR (which I ditched by the way)
It's because there is a large spread. If you look now, Buy is 2.07, Sell is 2.25, they are the real people, what happens in between during trading hours is manipulation. IMO they are using the large spread to try and scare some holders out of their shares low and then hoovering them up. Judging by the last few days, 2.11 or 2.12 is a great daytrade. You could stuff them up by putting in a buy order for 2.12 or something, it couldn't open lower than that but they'll take 12 shares from you. It's classic accumulation.
Only thing is, why do we have that large spread, where is the buying confidence? And I was a little disappointed we didn't finish up today.
Perhaps WW1 has a theory, he knows the market better than I do.
