NRW is now seeking an Applications Technical Lead to join the team at our Belmont office on a fulltime basis.

As an Applications Technical Lead you will be responsible for:

• Managing a team of Application Development and Support Professionals
• Managing technical delivery schedule
• Project scoping
• Defining and adhering to architectural standards
• Applications development and report writing using the full stack of NRW Holdings technologies
• Managing relationships with the business services team
• Quality assurance of all internally developed applications
• Implementing processes to improve development standard and delivery times
• Maintaining knowledge and evaluate industry development tools
• Lead system technical design
• Contributing to buy vs build decisions

To be considered for this position you will require:

• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• At least four years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focus
• Strong sense of ownership with a passion for development and delivering quality software
• Detailed technical knowledge and strong programming experience of: Xamarin, HTML5, SQL Server, SSRS, C# .net 4, JavaScript/Typescript, SSIS, Aspnet (.net core and full framework)

Desirable criteria for the role includes:

• Technical knowledge and programming experience of K2 and/or Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Experience in the civil and mining sector
