tilleydog, interesting idea that Swift's interview affected TXN's share price on Thurs and Friday. Not so sure about that effect, though.

At the late August TXN meeting, Foss referred to the poor results on adjacent land as one of the reasons why the almost done sale in June wasn't done by August. I don't recall any attendees saying that Swift was specifically named then, but TXN holders who attended or read HC would have picked up this news and would have put 2+2 together with the Swift news.

The key issue is whether the hydrocarbons have suddenly disappeared or whether Swift just wasn't good at sucking them out. Very likely the latter given TXN's past IP results as well as others (except Swift) in the area. Even in a forced drilling (EFS #5), TXN had an IP around 1000 boepd. OF course, TXN could fall short on the new wells, but I suspect they will do well. We'll find out in a few weeks.
