I'm fine with them. Representatives were at the AGM. The Chinese are canny investors and don't like to throw money away. They have quite a big foothold in Carrick and may wish to increase that. Whichever way you look at it, it is very cheap gold for them. There's a lot of pressure on gold right now, what with the Middle East troubles and a US dollar that is not really worth a dollar. If it breaks through $1,420 which certainly seems possible, the next target is $1,520. Gold in the ground becomes more valuable and desirable. Even lower grades become capable of being mined profitably. If Carrick has, let's say, to be reasonably conservative , 2.5million mineable ounces, another $100 on the price of gold should in theory add $250 million to the value of the company - it's all extra after all. Sounds like fantasy, doesn't it? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.
