Bigbadjohn you've put some hours into this. May I ask why you have spent so much time with this research when you do not hold the stock? I'm investing research time because I hold this stock and I'm sick of the misinformation campaign designed to short the stock or drag it down.

I think you are comparing apples and pears. I could spend time rebutting your stats but I think we'll get into a very subjective take on what stats mean what, and I've got other work to do and I don't want to risk being disprespectful.

As for missing China stats, I think you'll find that is because China hadn't filed its 2016 stats with WIPO at the time of the report. And know that IPH firms engage in a much wider range or activities than PCT filings?

Admittedly its January 2017, but I think the breadth of analysis is insightful.

No doubt, this stock is disappointing in the short term, but looking long - everybody seems to be in agreement. I can't help but think that while the escrow overhang has been and probably will continue to be an issue until we see a better growth story, the shorting attempts are playing on that. It's catch 22, until investors gain more information/confidence. It would be good to hear more analyst commentary on this stock (if you have some please post it), but I guess we will just have to wait for reporting season.
